"...versatile performers such as this certainly deserve television exposure..." THE STAGE
A question often asked in Steve’s 30-year career is “which came first the music or the comedy?”
There has always been humour in Steve’s life on and off stage, however musical training started in the early years with Royal Associated Board exams in piano, trumpet and music theory later moving onto musical arrangement, a music degree and taking a shine to the ukulele along the way.
Always wanting to perform onstage, humour was something that, like music, takes time to develop and Steve has always enjoyed combining this with his musical talents. Starting from humble beginnings with charity shows in a family band, making people laugh has long been a passion.
This led to performing comedy and music in very different spheres from theatre shows, pantomimes, comedy clubs and corporate events through to writing comedy for radio, TV show appearances and live BBC broadcasts. Steve has also been proud to support various armed forces charities including performances for the Princess Royal and Her Majesty the Queen.
Alongside his UK work, performing to a transatlantic audience was a fresh challenge. Since 2002 his unique blend of observational humour and music has taken him to all corners of the globe, predominantly on 6 star cruise lines. His unique blend of observational humour and music has made him a popular choice appealing to a variety of age groups and audiences internationally.
Variety is very much the word with something for everyone in a fun packed show full of stories, observations, stand-up comedy, musical humour, vocals, and instrumentals."
